2014 - 2015 Schedule

Continuum is a practice using breath, the resonance of one's own sounding, and subtle movement to enter into the fluid system of the body.

• The breath becomes more expansive and buoyant.
• The sound penetrates density and dissolves obstructions.
• Micro-movements and undulating wave motions melt rigidity and isolation, allowing the body to become ore of a coherent Whole.

A Continuum sequence of sounds and movements will activate your own bio-energetic intelligence, as you begin an individual inquiry into the depths of your body’s consciousness and explore what it means to be an embodied Being.

You will be welcomed into a safe haven where you can relax, slow down, and unwind. As we witness with compassion whatever is present in our bodies, we are able to let go of stress and compressions. Space will be held for deep healing, self-nurturing, inner peace, and connection to Source

Together we will see how this experience can translate into a way of being in the world that is in flow, grounded, joyful - a life fully lived!

The Shamanic Aspects of Continuum

During her sojourn in Haiti in her early 20’s, Emilie Conrad had a shamanic initiation that was to alter the course of her life and seed the development of her future work, Continuum Movement. Emilie was a true shaman, and anyone who ever saw her move witnessed an astonishing shapeshifter. She considered the mystery of that initiatory experience to be an ongoing source that informed her life’s work. We will explore the deep underlying relationship between Continuum and Shamanism.
